Willie Little is the humble owner and chef of Little’s Restaurant; an esteemed fish eatery situated in the heart of a small Scottish town. In a decision to both upscale his restaurant and to give back to the community, Willie decides to buy an old, disused church and begin a 10-month-long renovation to turn it into the new Little’s Restaurant.
This short documentary captures the transformation of the church and the attention to detail given by local tradesman, many of whom worked tirelessly – alongside Willie himself – to create the new restaurant. Throughout the film, we are able to see all the amazing work that has taken place inside the church, as well as meet the characters that have surrounded the project for it’s entire duration.
Patrick is a filmmaker based in Glasgow, Scotland. He has directed a variety of short films, most notably his short musical film, ‘A Primera Vista’, which was created for his dissertation project at the SAE Institute in 2017 – earning him a first class BA Hons degree in Digital Filmmaking.
His most recent short documentary, ‘A Little Revival’, which captured the renovation of a disused church being turned into a brand new restaurant, gained lots of publicity across Scotland – earning the documentary and Patrick himself a feature on STV.
