Throughout a calendar year, we spend time with the ducks along the Akerselva river in Oslo. We follow them through various situations and moods and see how they adapt to a changing world. Around them, we find people who come and go, but the seasons of the year change the way both they and we live. How does a duck fare on a bitterly cold winter day, and how does the population of Oslo change through the seasons? Without realizing, we may have more in common than one would think.
