I used to help around the farm until I was 40. Along the coast, we had a lot of rain and would often have trouble silaging grass for winter, while the looming threat of climate change made the work all the more stressful. But as a child I was fascinated by rain and water, streams of water flowing across tarmac, gravel, and making their way through mud. The way water erodes and builds sediments is astounding and a thing of beauty. This film comes from a strong desire to share my fascination and put a spotlight on an experience people often miss because they are too annoyed with rain. This is also the reason for the camera mostly pointing towards the ground, forcing the viewer to clear their mind and focus only on the moving water.
