This project will be his little school of cinema.
Following this, he founded Saint Gingembre, a filmmakers’ collective with five of his friends, and learnt filmmaking in a completely empirical way, reinventing lukewarm water with each new project of short films, clips and commercials. In this collective, he will regularly don the hat of head set designer or art director.
In 2018, Lucas is a laureate of several artistic residencies (including creation in progress ofthe Ateliers Médicis) in one of them, he directs his first short documentary «Soon at home»:For this film, he leaves to live in a small village in the Lot for two months and gives birth to the rumor of the construction of a tower in the heart of the village center.
He regularly collaborates with video artists Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, in workshops they give in architecture schools around the world (Tokyo, Delft, Paris, Barcelona, etc).
In 2022, he directed Auxiliaire (24min), his first short fiction film, bought by TV7 and Canal+. The same year he directed the documentary À Hauteur (52min) after three years of following a hospital clown troupe.
