Synopsis
Hidden in the darkness of her home, a lonely elderly woman tries to rearrange her life. Wandering in the labyrinth between reality, dream and imagination, she meets the ghost of her greatest love. Will their love conquer time and space or will the black hole of everyday life engulf it?
Director Biography
Peter Vulchev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria on 30 January 1988. His childhood and teenage years were spent in the sub-Balkan town of Pirdop. He studied photography and cinema at Krastyo Sarafov The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. In 2013 he released his first short film SHH… SING TO ME!. The film is a co-production by the creative duo Peter Vulchev and Andrey Volkashin. From 2013 to 2017, he worked as a director, scriptwriter, and cinematographer for the documentary TV shows ATELIER (broadcast on BNT2) and ENTER THE TIME (BNT2). In 2018, his documentary film A MONOLOGUE IN THE INTERMISSION was released. The film has had more than 40 world premieres at some of the biggest film festivals, 6 awards including Best Documentary and 2 for Best Editing. In 2021 his new fiction short film GOOD NIGHT, LILY Peter is again the writer and director of the film. The film GOOD NIGHT LILY won Best Bulgarian Short Film at the IN THE PALACE INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, giving it the opportunity to be qualifying for the Oscars in 2022. Peter is currently working on several short projects, two feature films, a series and two photography projects
