Sinopsis
Playtime’s Over is a celebration of the incredible imagination we find in the mind of children, which unfortunately fades away as they grow up. In the film we meet a boy who gets teased for being childish as he plays vividly in his own fantasy world. He has to choose whether he should keep doing what he loves and risk losing his friends or put his imaginative world behind him and “grow up”.
Director Biography
Jakob Gunby just graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Production at NTNU in Trondheim, with “Ikke mere moro” as his final student project. From earlier he has experience as a production designer for horror and action short films. To Gunby filmmaking is quite new, as his background is from the theatre as an actor, director and musical preformer. In recent years he has gradually spent less time on stage, and more time behind the camera.
