Synopsis
“Survival and School” is a beautiful story about the bad and evil times. An oasis of peace in war time. A nylon school built in the Berisha Mountains (Kosova) that had gathered around 200 pupils of the surrounding villages.
The fate of people seen in the twenty-year-old authentic and timely shooting in quite different circumstances reveals the best the bad fate of man.
Director Biography
Ilir Kabashi graduated in film Directing at the Faculty of Arts in Pristina,
In 2009 he finished his Master’s degree in Film Directing in Pristina.
He has written and directed about 20 short movies and documentary films.
Some of the awards that he won are “Best National ” in Dokufest, “Jury” and “Public Prize” in “One World”, in Pristina, and others.
His films have been shown in many festivals and televisions in Kosova and abroad.
In most of his documentary films, the main subject is human rights and the fate of a man in society.
During 2011/2014 he had been a member of the Board in the Kosovo Cinematographic Centre-KCC.
He currently works in Radio Television of Kosova-RTK.
