Synopsis
The documentary film is about the planning and construction of the iconic Skodje Bridges, and about what has happened to them afterwards, the stories associated with the bridges, the stunts (bungee jumping from and flying under the Storstraum Bridge) and what they have meant to people over the years. The film contains historical photos and films, interviews and the narrow film club’s own film footage. Øystein Strømsvik tells the story, and among others, city historian and author Harald Grytten tells about his horror-mixed experience of bussing through the county’s first tunnel, the Tunnel with a capital T.
