Nadina Helen Bakos
Producer, scriptwriter, director and photographer.
Helen graduated with a BA in Photography from Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio in 2003.
She was an assistant to DOP Odd Geir Sæther from 2004 to 2007.
Together with Cristo Borrachero, she founded the film collective PurpleDragons in 2016.
Her artworks (both photography and video) have been exhibited in different galleries, museums
and festivals. Most known are Stenersenmuseum, Gallery Trafo, The Photo Gallery of Oslo,
Oslo cinema, Oslo Pix, Oslo Fusion International Film Festival and Nordic / Docs.
Maru Sánchez-López
Maru has over 20 years of experience working in the film industry in Mexico, Norway and international. The range of her projects goes from short documentaries to Tv commercials, podcasts, reportages and still photography. She has a bachelor in social anthropology, a master in documentary and journalism and has taken several courses on photography, financing, direction, radio and storytelling. Maru has also experience as film production teacher in both countries and has collaborated with musicians, actors, performers and humanitarian organizations producing content for Tv series,
documentaries and video journalism.
Maru is currently working as line producer for the Spanish documentary project “More than a Museum”, about the creation, building and controversies on Munch Museum in Oslo. She is also working in her third short film “operation Marilyn Monroe”, a fiction story based on a comedy show, and on the development of “The Heier”, a point and click video game about being a journalist in the aftermath of the war on drugs, corruption and information in Mexico.
