Director Biography
Shokat Harjo
Founder of Honning Film, where he is both an actor, director and screenwriter. He fled to Norway from Syria in December 2015, and made his debut at Det Norske Teatret in the screening “I desse dagar” in 2022 and in the feature film Gritt in 2021. He is also current with the films “Siste Stopp” and “I Walked Alone” and the Netflix series Lakseøya.
Simon Mathew Valentine
Simon is a British/Norwegian filmmaker who tells stories through the use of magical realism, often with elements of the supernatural and metaphysical. His previous eco-horror short “Tistlebu” has won multiple prestigious international awards, and he is currently taking his fine arts master’s degree at the Norwegian Film School.
