Synopsis
After years of little contact, the passing of their father brings Gro and Heidi together in their childhood home. While Heidi wants to reminisce and talk, Gro is cold and distant. With different motivation, they go through all the old things. Heidi finds a diary that Gro kept in her youth. It describes events Heidi can’t remember, and she discovers that their father wasn’t as great and kind as she thought.
This is a realistic drama about family, memories and legacy.
Director Biography
Ann Beate Eikås Hovland is the writer and director of Arv (Legacy). This is her debut as a director, and her vision was to tell a story close to the world we live in. Ann Beate is a detail oriented director and work close with every department to bring all aspects of the story to life.
