Sinopsis

A musical film adaptation of the fairy-tale “The Little Match Girl” by H.C. Andersen. In the film, we meet the poor girl Ella who goes from door to door selling matches on New Year’s Eve.

 

Director Biography

Selma Indine Strønen Damm is a 19 year old writer and director. She is a part of “Musikaljentene”, a group of four young women that together produces selfwritten musicals in Bergen, Norway. “The Little Match Girl” is her debut as a filmdirector and was produced when she was 18 years old. She has also been doing a lot of performing in musicals, and at the time of writing she is studying at Performing Arts School in Göteborg, Sweden.
