WENIFFLAB – 11th EDITION

Master the art of short films

WENIFF LAB is a 1-week workshop that teaches young people the whole process of film production. From networking, brainstorming and conceptualization, to screen-writing, recording, acting, editing and motion effect work.

“WENIFF Lab” is limited to 15 participants only (which will be divided into 3 or 4 working groups). The final films will be screened during WENIFF’s official closing ceremony. The best film will be rewarded with an official short film medal and sum of 5000NOK (≈ 500 euro) CARD.

The short film(s) produced under ‘WENIFF Lab’,  will also be distributed to other international short film festivals.

We believe that the importance of audiovisual production skills will continue to increase throughout the next decades and that WENIFF Lab provides young creatives a unique platform for collective growth. This year “WENIFF Lab” will be full of surprises and we will keep you informed through all the process.

Limited to 15 participants only.
Age limit: 15-20 years.
Cost: Free
‘WENIFF Lab’ is a platform for both starters and up-and-coming creatives.
Experience from screen-writing, acting, film production or motion graphics is preferred, but not a necessity.

Application deadline is Tuesday 8th of February, h: 14:00.
